Teaching and learning at Coowonga State School is underpinned by effective pedagogical practices, a rigorous and relevant curriculum aligned to the Australian Curriculum, and multi-age groupings that support differentiation and collaborative learning. Curriculum planning is informed by student data and focuses on building foundational skills, deep understanding and transferable capabilities.

Through our curriculum and school practices, we intentionally develop students’ lifelong learning dispositions, alongside the social, economic and cultural capabilities required to be active, informed and resilient members of society. Guided by our 'Learn for Life' motto​, Coowonga State School remains focused on continuous improvement and achieving positive outcomes for every learner.
