At Coowonga State School, we provide a variety of camps, excursions and incursions to enrich learning and provide memorable, hands-on experiences. These activities allow students to explore new environments; connect learning to real-life contexts; and develop social, teamwork and leadership skills.
Camps and excursions are carefully planned to complement classroom learning and support the development of independence, resilience and curiosity. Incursions bring experts and exciting experiences into the classroom, making learning interactive and engaging for all students.
Through these experiences, students gain practical knowledge, confidence and a broader understanding of the world around them, enhancing their learning journey in meaningful ways. All notes for excursions are sent home to parents as required.
