8.55am to 11.00am—session 1 (learning tIme)
11.00am to 11.45am—first break (15 minutes eating then play)
11.45am to 1.15pm—session 2 (learning time)
1.15pm to 1.45pm—second break (15 minutes play then eating)
1.45pm to 3.00pm—session 3
Before school procedures
Students arriving from 8.15am onwards are required to wait on the classroom veranda. They are able to access the free Breakfast Club provided daily and sit at the designated seats. At 8.45am, students are supervised for before bell basketball. They then transition to their classrooms and prepare for learning for the day. There is no access to playground equipment at this time.
Homework Club
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—3.00pm to 4.00pm
Homework Club provides students with a supportive and structured environment to complete homework and strengthen essential learning skills. During Homework Club, students practise technology skills such as using digital devices, typing, navigating online platforms and accessing learning programs, while also reinforcing key literacy and numeracy skills.
Students receive guidance and support from staff, allowing them to build confidence, independence and positive learning habits. The focus is on consolidating classroom learning in a calm and encouraging setting.
A light, healthy snack is provided to ensure students are settled, focused and ready to learn.
For student safety, parents and carers are required to sign students out upon collection at the conclusion of Homework Club.
Homework Club is a valuable opportunity for students to develop academic skills, digital capability and responsibility in a supportive environment.
